Fighting Fire
Fire is dangerous because it can start anywhere and spread very fast. There are many kinds of fire. They are oil fires, gas fires, electrical fires and chemical fires. Firemen deal with fires. They put out fires, rescue people , help if the chemical accidently spill and tour school to teach the children about the dangerous of fires.
Accidents In the Homes
A large numbers of accidents happen in the home . The most common accidents are falls , burns , scalds , electrocution suffocation and poisoning .
Small children are very active . They put everything in their mouths. They play with sharp things . They put plastic bags in their heads . Mothers have dangers in the kitchen like burns , cuts , from kitchen utensils and open tins .
The Early Spread of Islam
Islam spread all over the world . First , it was taken outside the Arabian Peninsula in peace . The enemies of Islam tried to stop its spread .
As the Muslims advanced to the north , soldiers of the Roman Empire met them . Muslims captured Damascus then they took Jerusalem . Then they defeated the Romans and the Persian armies . They introduced Islam there
The Food We Eat
Everyone needs to be healthy and to stay alive . However , we cannot eat only one kind of food . We need a balanced diet . In other , we need food which contains five important substances : proteins ,minerals, carbohydrates ,fats and vitamins .
Energy in is measured in calories . A person need about 40 calories a day for each kilo that he weighs . If you eat more calories than you need , your body stores the extra calories as fat .
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Past
Life has changed a lot in Saudi Arabia . They lived in a traditional house made of mud, wood, stone and straw. They got water from well and washed their clothes with hands. They *****d on open fire. They didn’t have any formal schooling .When anyone was sick their mother use to make remedies with plants and herbs. At night, they use to use oil lamps to have light. Also , they listened to the stories told by the older member of the family .
Pollution
Allah gave us a clean and a completed environment but we didn’t keep it as Allah created it. There are many kinds
Of pollution. Pollution of the atmosphere which causes by the smoke from cars and factories and the result it kills the birds and cause disease for the human being. Second, pollution of the seas and rivers which caused by oil from factories and tankers spill oil into the seas or rivers and the human put the rubbish into them and the result it kills birds and fish. Third, helicopter spry the chemical into the land and when people put the rubbish on the ground and the result will be damage the plants and cause the diseases for the human. Finally , we must do more efforts to keep our environment as Allah created it.
